A Little About Me

I am a lover of creative expression. There are so many inspiring artists, places, people...there is beauty all around. It is such a joy to capture emotions with a bit of a flare in a photo that will be cherished. I highly recommend photography as a creative outlet to anyone.

**Also, thank you so much to all the great photographers out there as well as my incredible models that have and will continue to inspire me.**

The Whole Crew

What a good lookin crew!!

It's tricky to get everyone together.  These guys were smart and had their pictures done.  The bad new is that they had to put up with all my antics in the process.  ;0)

These next 2 are awesome!!  I love pictures that make me smile.  :0)  Thanks guys!

The woman of the hour...  When I spoke with her she said that she loved looking around and seeing that all these people are just because of her and her husband.  :0)  She definitely deserved the celebration they had that night.

Happy Birthday!!

Brandon and Cynthia

Brandon and Cynthia, I am sooo glad that you thought of me to do your photos for you.  It was great seeing you and getting to know your boys.

Here's a quick preview of a few of your photos that stood out to me...

I love these first 2 pictures.

We had a good time, but let's be honest....anything with a 2 yr old involved, is most likely going to be interesting.

Man, they are good lookin boys.

This location was beautiful.  Quick shout out to all the generous and kind land owners I've met through photography in the valley!!

You guys are such a cute couple.  I love these pictures of you.

This is the perfect depiction of life with children...
Finding love and time for each other amongst the chaos that is life.

Thanks again for coming down for pictures.  You have a wonderful family.  You guys make me look good.  ;0)

Joanne & Anthony's Crew

Wow!  I'm excited to start posting on my blog again.  It's a great time a year...longer days with lots of sunlight.
It's time to get out and start taking those bright, colorful summer photos to display in your home and enjoy during the dark winter months.  ;0)

What an awesome family!! They were all so patient. Even with the river so close by that was just begging to have rocks thrown into it.  ;0)

I still love the antiqued coloring.  For those of you interested in editing your own photos, I highly encourage you to learn and apply ACTIONS to your portfolio of editing knowledge.  It's a fabulous way to easily recreate the looks you love.

My favorite online resource is Deviant Art.  Check it out, download a few and give it a go!

You guys have a great family!
You're bound to have MANY days filled with joy...and certainly never a dull moment.  ;0)

Thanks for letting me do your photos!

"Oh, I'm freezin!"

Oh man!! I couldn't taken pictures of these kid-os all day! They are so darn cute. We had a lot of fun. It was a bit cold since it was December. The youngest was sitting on the little chair, fixing her dress and said..."Oooooh! I'm Freeeezin!" With a big grin on her face. hahaha....so darn cute! I keep hearing her little voice...I feel like these pictures have an audio clip with them. ;0)

Siblings....is there anything better?

Thanks for letting me take your pictures guys.
Merry Christmas!!

By Small and Simple Things...

This sweet angel has had a very exciting beginning. She's only been here for 5 months and already has too big of a story to tell.

She has battled several health challenges to get here and is doing marvelously well!

Plus, she just could not be more adorable. Don't you think?

This is the greatest yawning picture ever!! I dare you to look at it for 10 seconds and NOT yawn! hehehe...

With her courage and strength, she is sure to do
great things.

Cheers, little one!

What brings a smile to your face??

I am a sucker for a happy little one. :0) And these cute kids were just loaded with smiles and personality!! They are seriously adorable!

PHOTOGRAPHY THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
My sister is always teasing me about my "artistic" eye. She claims that I always choose the "artistic" photo over the perfectly posed picture that perhaps many of you would choose. It's true I guess...I am crazy over photos that capture a genuine moment!

So...just for the fun of it. Let's see what type YOU would choose!

To me...these next few photos are
BEAUTY, TRUE-TO-LIFE and WHIMSY.

Whereas, these next few are PERFECT SMILES for the camera.
They are such cuties...

Which pictures bring a smile to YOUR face??

Now...THIS is a picture for all tastes!!
Anyone with small children knows how hard it is to get a picture with ALL of them smiling at the camera. SCORE!!!

For this shoot, I tried manipulating sepia tones in a new way for me.
I am happy with the result and love learning new things...

But, true color is always timeless and classic.

Julie and Jay, thank you so much for thinking of me for your photos this year!! I loved seeing your family again. :0)
Happy Holidays!!
