A Little About Me

I am a lover of creative expression. There are so many inspiring artists, places, people...there is beauty all around. It is such a joy to capture emotions with a bit of a flare in a photo that will be cherished. I highly recommend photography as a creative outlet to anyone.

**Also, thank you so much to all the great photographers out there as well as my incredible models that have and will continue to inspire me.**

Stole My Heart

This little man had a hold on my heart before he was born.  And every moment since, he's just tightened his grip.

He truly is happiness personified.

Moving Forward

Can I just say that I love this family.
I feel lucky to have been able to take these photos for them.

I don't mind admitting that while posting this last picture, I felt a little emotional.  These guys are about to move out of state and begin a great new chapter in their lives.  It's true what they say....that change is the only constant.  And though I'm thrilled for this opportunity for them, I'll still miss seeing their happy faces.

This photo is a great depiction of them moving forward together as a family as they begin this next adventure.

Wishing you all the best Cook Family!!  :0)

Family Happiness

This family knows how to have fun!
They came to this photoshoot prepared to play.  And because of that...they ended up with so many pictures that just make me smile.  :0D

This next picture was taken about half way through the photoshoot.  And, it totally cracks me up.  I've gotta admit though...most of us feel this way about getting more pictures taken of us.  Am I right??

Don't worry...we had fun.  We gave him candy and let him hold rocks and play in dirt to help him keep going.

Such a great family and a sweet couple.  Thank you for letting me capture these photos for you.

Enjoy!!

His & Hers

Wow!!!  Do I ever have some catching up to do.  ;0P  I am hoping to catch up my blog and my photoshoots very very soon...

In the mean time...I recently did a fun photoshoot that ended up having several pictures that made me think "His & Hers" over and over.  So, I thought they'd be fun to share in their own post.

Well, these first few are obvious....His & Hers...

These next 2 pictures are the ones that I really enjoy.  I love that I captured one with just "him" looking at the camera and one with just "her" looking at the camera.

I muted everything but their look.  It makes me think of a glimpse into their life on a daily basis.  Though I emphasis the focus on "His and Her" looks at the camera, their family is just beside them...happily living life.  I just found this to be a very unique perspective.  :0)
