A Little About Me

I am a lover of creative expression. There are so many inspiring artists, places, people...there is beauty all around. It is such a joy to capture emotions with a bit of a flare in a photo that will be cherished. I highly recommend photography as a creative outlet to anyone.

**Also, thank you so much to all the great photographers out there as well as my incredible models that have and will continue to inspire me.**

Jae & Larry's Family

Jaelynne & Larry have the greatest family!!
It's fascinating to see a family grow and change through the stages of life.  Character shines through after living and working and doing for years...and these 2 have raised a beautiful family.  :0)

Poor Ali was not feeling well and was a trooper for us!

I LOVE personality photos.
This next picture absolutely speaks 1000 words.  It would be fun to hear what people thought of each personality shown in this picture.  :0)  Or even a fun self-evaluation photo to chat about as a family.

Texture and patterns can be great assets to a photo.  I love the prints and colors these guys chose.
They look fabulous in color...

...And their prints translate into Black and White really really well.
When picking your outfits for photos, don't be afraid to add textures and prints!

I just love this family!  Thanks again for letting me do some photos for you.  :0)  I think you guys look sooo great!!  I hope you enjoy them!

One thing that I've learned in my short experience as a photographer....is that EVERY photoshoot is different.  Different personalities are brought to the table each time.  With different ages and different challenges.  And I can honestly say that every single shoot has made me smile and smile and smile while editing.  :0)

This has helped me realize to just enjoy the moments that we have.  You may or may not get "THAT" picture you had in mind.  But, I guarantee you'll get something else that is wonderful.  I've had pictures present themselves to me that are better than any preconceived idea I had.

So.....just roll with it.  If something extra-ordinary happens (someone falls and scrapes their nose, someone is sick, someone just cut their own hair, you have a 2 year old ;0) ....etc) on picture day, chances are you'll cherish those pictures for the images themselves...as well as the memory of the day.

Trust me, even though it's difficult, this won't be the last time you'll ever take pictures (to the dismay of many...hehe).  Try to enjoy the time with your family and your photographer once you're there.
You may be pleasantly surprised...and actually have a good time.  :0)
